1) Roll-call.

2) Fixed meeting times proposed. 

Suggested times where Monday 1400-1600 or Tuesday 1030-1230. In the end it was agreed to hold meetings every Monday from 1400-1600.

3) Proposed project ideas:


Project ideas were proposed and discussed


Andrews' idea: An Independent and Alternative Animation Festival. Ideas included having three main sections.

1. Recruitment: Where people could try find people to join their projects or projects to join.
2. Showing animations: The screening of peoples work
3. Seminars: Focusing on independent film production as well as animation techniques focusing on how to create effects and animation on a money and time budget.

Richards' idea: Advertising and promoting SMU FADE using characters. Mascots could be created for the various departments (e.g. BA : Arty character, BSc : Technical character, Games design : Carries a foam gun etc). 

Ideas: Open days, TV and internet adverts. Have the characters in breaking out of jail with the slogan "Free your creativity".
